Summary of the Job:

The B2B Marketing Manager will be part of executing a best-in-class performance marketing campaign for CareerBuilder to support the company’s SMB strategy. You will be responsible for building and executing campaigns that support the SMB revenue goals.  This position will engage in the development and implementation of eCommerce marketing strategies to facilitate online conversions with B2B customers.


The B2B Marketing Manager will partner closely with sales, product, operations, and other cross-functional teams to achieve goals. The candidate will develop and execute performance programs, lifecycle and nurture programs, that support our business goals across new customer acquisition as well as current customer base retention and expansion. You are someone who can turn customer insights into innovative campaign strategies and messaging that drive measurable results. 


The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and possess 5+ years of B2B marketing experience.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the cross-functional collaboration of various teams to build and execute B2B eCommerce campaigns
  • Develop, execute, and analyze B2B marketing plans that may include digital, email campaigns, participation in industry conferences and events, webinars, and website updates
  • Partner closely with sales, sales strategy, client advocacy, and communications to design and deliver integrated marketing campaigns 
  • Collaborate with product marketing to leverage product & services positioning/messaging and target persona data in order to develop innovative & effective integrated programs & tactics that drive business results
  • Measure results utilizing test-and-learn strategies, as well as market research and analysis, to drive strategic decision making
  • Identify trends impacting customers and shaping the industry; create communications strategies to demonstrate our market leadership
  • Develop a deep understanding of the B2B target audience’s unique perspective and needs in terms of marketing; advocate for customer/prospect perspective representation in B2B content development and selling/pitching strategies across the organization

Job Requirements:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and execution of integrated, multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns: ideating, building, monitoring, optimizing, and measuring performance
  • Familiarity with Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot, or other marketing automation platforms 
  • Reporting – strives for continuous improvement by analyzing and sharing key results; uses reporting and forecasting to make informed business decisions
  • Project Management – Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management skills; comfortable handling and coordinating multiple, simultaneous projects under deadline pressure while executing complex strategic and operational initiatives in a quality manner
  • Experimentation – not afraid to test & learn continuously; excels in dealing with ambiguity and loves a challenge
  • Entrepreneurial thinking - High energy, autonomous self-starter who is focused, versatile, a team player, and consistently demonstrates operational process automation and improvement
  • Collaboration – Strong relationship-building skills; consistently collaborate cross-functionally amongst different business units within the organization, bridging gaps and silos to ensure continuity and scale across initiatives
  • Communication – Proficient in all modes of communication written, verbal and formal presentation, with the ability to effectively “net it out” and tell the story – turning complex data into valuable insights, communicating recommendations, influencing various audiences to take action, and measuring impact/ROI

Minimum Years of Experience:

5+ years

  • 3+ years experience running performance marketing campaigns – B2B experience preferred 



Physical Demands:

  • Frequent phone and computer use
  • Creating written communications
  • Able to sit/stand at a desk
  • Able to bend, sit, stand, lift boxes or equipment (between 0-15 lbs)

Able to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally
