The Content Writer will bring CareerBuilder's brand voice to life through marketing materials. Their work will support both B2B & B2C audiences through brand awareness campaigns, lead gen and sales enablement materials.

The Content Writer on the CareerBuilder Creative team will helps develop new messaging about CB products through integrated marketing campaigns, sales materials, internal communications and other channels. We’re looking for a talented B2B and B2C writer who has bookmarked the AP Stylebook website (and lives and breathes by its Twitter updates) and who can deliver high-quality, impactful messaging to our clients and prospects. Not everyone speaks HR, and we need you to be our translator.

  • Help to create differentiated value messaging for CareerBuilder B2B products and pull through proof points to use in campaigns & enablement.
  • Create messaging for and maintain B2B product marketing materials for multiple CareerBuilder B2B products including data sheets, blog posts, web page copy/content, PowerPoint slides and sales enablement materials.
  • Develop content to support B2B digital marketing lead gen campaigns, including emails and banner ads.
  • Work as part of the Creative Team to ensure all materials are on brand and the CareerBuilder voice is consistent across all applications.
  • Write articles for both B2C and B2B resource centers and adhere to an editorial calendar.
  • Serve as the “voice of CareerBuilder” through B2C campaigns by creating compelling copy for emails, paid and organic social posts, banner ads, radio and podcast ads, and other mediums.
  • Manage multiple assignments simultaneously within established timeframes
  • Develop creative solutions with a compelling story flows that clearly align with project strategy and vision

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of content writing, or similar experience required.
  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required with demonstrated proficiency in business writing and marketing communications
  • Must approach daily challenges with a positive outlook and be approachable to others both internally and externally to the organization

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to adapt to changing priorities with ease and composure, while continuing to meet established deadlines
  • Ability to coordinate and effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of and experience with SEO and Google Analytics a plus.
  • Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Experience with Workfront or other project management platforms, Uberflip or other CMS systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of AP Style and ability to follow internal style and brand voice guidelines
  • Ability to coordinate with designers to translate marketing strategy into content that tells a compelling story.
