Position Overview

The NCA Sales Director focuses on bringing new logos on to the CareerBuilder client roster, developing leaders in the group, transferring your skill set to the sales reps, and ultimately drive rapid acceleration of sales and EBIDTA through continual development and refinement of the Inside Sales organization. You will be responsible for hiring, training, developing, strategy execution and driving results.

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • New customer logo acquisition
  • Achieve defined sales and EBIDTA metrics
  • Implementation and compliance with CareerBuilder forecasting and funnel management
  • Promote a healthy and productive sales environment/culture
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create successful partnerships between sales and marketing, product, training, finance, etc.
  • Support and encourage the company’s mission and values
  • Conflict resolution both internally and externally
  • Hire and maintain productive headcount
  • Develop and Implement planning strategies for future revenue, headcount, and market growth
  • Develop, implement, lead, and monitor the underlying sales processes that will serve as the operating blueprint for the department: Including but not limited to: 1) Strategic coverage model / account alignment to maximize resource and revenue performance; 2) the development of sales manager’s quarterly objectives; and 3) the development and management of appropriate sales management tools such as Forecasting, Pipeline, Account Planning and Implementation.
  • Provide thought leadership as to the emerging trends in the market place that provide insight to key functional areas in the organization impacting our value proposition and its effect on targeted customers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify areas for sales improvement, present findings and implement change management as needed
  • Develop overall growth strategy for Inside Sales team by capturing customer data and partnering with the Marketing organization to develop and implement specific direct marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Responsible for overall sales growth for Inside Sales Team including market penetration, new opportunity development, customer relations and retention.
  • Lead teams toward the successful attainment of profitable revenue objectives and achievement of personal career objectives and development through diligent execution of disciplined sales management processes.

Job Requirements:

Requirements

  • 5+ years of inside business to business sales experience selling at the executive level
  • 5+ years of business to business sales management experience
  • Able to think creatively, independently and have strong success track record in past sales experience
  • Possess strong leadership skills, and have shown the ability to hire, train, and retain sales professionals
  • Experience working in a business to business, inside sales environment at the senior leadership level
  • Proven track record of winning in “new business” sales environment
  • Ability to drive new business
  • Successful experience leading and developing high activity sales executives in surpassing sales goals
  • Salesforce experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Proven ability to engage, support, and service your customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with conceptual sales at enterprise level, solution selling and value-based selling
  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Experience selling media, software or services
  • Experience selling to C-Suite buyers
  • Experience selling to HR buyers and TA buyers
  • Experience working named account lists
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Able to self-motivate and work independently
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
  • Expert level business acumen and ability to think strategically

Education:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication or Marketing Strongly Preferred
