We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales with a proven track record of success selling technology/services at the enterprise level. This leader must have strong B2B Enterprise sales and leadership experience.  We are looking for an exceptional leader who has previous experience building, transforming and managing successful sales business units.  He/she will iterate and build upon our current sales strategy while providing definition and implementation of the plan to exceed sales objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven understanding of selling disruptive, habit changing software into enterprise customers.

 Job Requirements

  • Ability to build a sales team and develop sales campaigns to successfully execute to revenue, budget, and P&L plan.
  • Day-to-day management of the sales team including responsibility for performance management, recruitment and professional development of sales leaders and sales representatives.
  • Drive rigorous sales development execution and oversight, and KPI management including forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Define sales process that drives desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when applicable.
  • Drive strategic planning, territory definition, quota and compensation construct.
  • Work cross-functionally with Customer Success, R&D, Marketing and other internal partners to grow pipeline, maturation strategies and execution plans for new geographies, products and market segments.
  • Build and conduct executive presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including the board of directors.
  • Represent CareerBuilder at industry conferences. 
  • Develop a detailed knowledge of CareerBuilder's product offerings and drive adoption of knowledge and strategy execution to the sales team.
  • Design and develop sales materials, necessary for selling into the talent acquisition industry.


Job Requirements:

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales leadership experience
  • HR Technology/Talent Acquisition Technology experience
  • Successful experience managing a team of 10+ salespeople including independent sales representatives and partnership channels.
  • Comfortable presenting and selling into to C suite executives.
  • Experience negotiating 7 figure enterprise contracts.
  • Professional sales management experience that will enable ability to successfully recruit, coach, and retain highly effective sales representatives and managers.
  • Exemplary written, oral, presentation and communication skills. 
  • Exceptional work ethic with an ability to manage demanding situations.
  • Strong interpersonal, planning, networking, and organizational skills. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Assertive and confident with ability to motivate team and inspire passion around company and products.
  • Robust Salesforce analysis, reporting, and forecasting skillset.
  • Demonstrated experience with data management and analysis. 
  • A personal drive to “getting it done and doing it right” and the ability to make effective decisions and see them through.
  • Proven consultative sales skills with the ability to articulate a clear, concise value proposition, benefits and return on investment.
  • Ability to identify sales opportunities unlocking multiple product opportunities
  • Skilled at building rapport and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers.
  • Lead generation ability from personal relationships.
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; strong sense of urgency.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Ability & willingness to travel up to 40%.
