Job Summary:

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting key functions of the HR department including new employee on-boarding, employee changes and departures, file maintenance, and fielding employee questions.  The position involves a high level of teamwork and collaboration with fellow HR team members as well as interaction with employees and outside vendors. This is an opportunity to work on an enthusiastic and driven global team and to gain exposure to different areas of the HR department including Employee Relations, Benefits, Payroll and Recruiting.


Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Responsible for the coordination of new hire on-boarding activities for North America; submit and review background checks, distribute and collect new hire paperwork, review paperwork for accuracy, and verify worker eligibility documents and I-9s in the US.
  • Responsible for data entry of new hires, internal changes and terminations into the HRIS system, Workday
  • Responsible for the maintenance of employee personnel files, both electronic and paper
  • Act as main point of contact for employee questions; responsible for monitoring and responding to any inquires received through the general HR department email inbox and phone line
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to support the employee lifecycle process
  • Assist in the creation and rollout of various HR initiatives and projects
  • Assist in the review, testing and implementation HRIS system updates and patches
  • Respond to management or employee inquiries for employee data; run reports in Workday as requested, validate results and ensure accuracy
  • Update department forms, documents, and process documents as necessary and assist with system audits

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or other related discipline is preferred
  • Must be highly organized with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office preferred

  • Able to adapt to changing priorities with ease and composure, while continuing to meet established deadlines

  • Ability to act diplomatically and effectively communicate with all executives, employees, clients and outside vendors
  • Ability to coordinate and effectively prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently as well as work as an effective team member
