The Key Account Executive is the highest level of enterprise sales rep within the organization. Key Account Executives work with the largest, most complex accounts within the business. The accounts include Fortune 500 companies. Sales skill, experience and passion are vital to the Key Account Executive role. Essential Responsibilities:

  • You will become a subject matter expert on human resources, recruitment landscape, and how the economy impacts today’s workforce.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to your clients by identifying and consulting with key decision makers to understand their business needs and build a business case for CareerBuilder’s solutions.
  • Encourage clients to evaluate business needs and recruiting strategies in new ways. Constructively challenge client perceptions and the status quo.
  • Each day your focus will be to identify opportunities, create the business case and close the sale. You are able to own the entire sales lifecycle and have complete control over your success.
  • You will articulate the value of new services to your existing client base and continue to expand the business with a set of nationwide accounts who currently partner with CareerBuilder.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in Salesforce
  • Partner with success to drive product usage, deliver on ROI, and identify opportunities for growth within accounts
  • Partner across multiple departments to provide best-in-class service and support to CareerBuilder’s most valuable customers

Job Requirements:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in enterprise sales
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Salesforce experience
  • Customer experience comes first. You must have an innate ability to engage, support, and service your customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a subject matter expert (SME) in the recruitment landscape
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Experience with conceptual sales at enterprise level, solution selling and value-based selling
  • Able to self-motivate and work independently
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
  • Expert level business acumen and ability to think strategically
  • Experience with conceptual sales, solution selling and value-based selling
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills

  • Experience selling to HR buyers and TA buyers

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ enterprise sales experience
  • Experience selling  into a named account set of 1.5M+ annual spend with an average annual deal size between 50k-150K
  • Proven success selling to the executive level as well as multiple buyers at several levels within large, enterprise organizations, fortune 500
  • Experience selling into the job board space
  • Experience managing key accounts with top level spend

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

 

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication or Marketing Strongly Preferred

Master’s Degree or MBA preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent phone and computer use
  • Creating written communications
  • Able to sit/stand at a desk
  • Able to bend, sit, stand, lift boxes or equipment (between 0-15 lbs)
  • Able to travel domestically

**All CareerBuilder employees are currently working remotely due  to COVID-19. This role can remain remote full-time, if desired.
