Summary of the Job:

The Key Account Manager role consists of providing support to Key Account Executives to execute proven strategies within an assigned group of established and growing Strategic accounts, including expansion of current business and identifying new business.  This role will provide support to KAE through setting client meetings and assisting in creation of new opportunities for non-billing strategic accounts as assigned to the Key Account Executive partner. The primary focus is to develop and grow revenue in the Strategic Key Accounts sales channel.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Partner with assigned Key Account Executive to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Increase spend and create/identify new buyers in existing accounts by cultivating new relationships
  • Collaborate with assigned sales representative to develop account strategy and maximize value
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Become a subject matter expert by acquiring ongoing marketplace intelligence through researching trends and best practices, reading business publications, seeking out learning and development and utilizing internal resources
  • Set meetings and create opportunities for assigned sales representative counterpart
  • Contact potential clients through cold calling and email communications
  • Monitor and track clients competitive analysis on a monthly basis
  • Monthly Research items (new products, financial announcements, press releases)
  • Assist in developing, modify sales PowerPoint presentations, proposals for clients/prospects, and account marketing
  • Encourage clients to evaluate business needs and recruiting strategies in new ways
  • Constructively challenge client perceptions and the status quo
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in CSM (Salesforce)
  • Partner with success to drive product usage, deliver on ROI, and identify opportunities for growth within accounts

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Minimum Years of Experience:

3-5 Years

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent phone and computer use
  • Creating written communications
  • Able to sit/stand at a desk
  • Able to bend, sit, stand, lift boxes or equipment (between 0-15 lbs)
  • Able to travel occasionally domestically (less than 10%)
