Career Builder is looking for a Product Analytics Manager to help data driven decision making for Product Management and the development leadership teams.

You will leverage your technical skills to find answers to business problems. Working and contributing towards multiple initiatives, you will engage closely with cross functional teams to drive practices, design and execution of experiments from inception to completion.  You will recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis, including data integrity, analysis, validation, and documentation and drive results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Make a business impact through analytical and strategic guidance and reporting.
  • Help develop KPIs and metrics to track initiative progress/performance to enable a focus on results, performance of our products/ diagnose problems.
  • Leverage technical skills to research and mine big data sources to understand, develop a point of view to guide the development of product experiences.
  • Help with data driven research for new product initiatives
  • Assess Data Quality / Validity checks.
  • Facilitate building of dashboards to monitor the performance of our products and diagnose problems to share insights and present to senior leadership regularly.
  • Illustrate key business trends and drivers through effective data interpretation and visualization.
  • Work with product managers to structure and execute disciplined experiments, measure and analyze results, and present findings, to drive product recommendations.
  • Supervise product analysts on day-to-day deliverables and provide coaching.
  • Oversee new analyst resource onboarding and provide training as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across support, sales, success, marketing, finance.
  • Become an analytics/data subject matter expert.
  • Develop perspectives on key customer behaviors rooted in our product and enable stakeholders to actively measure impact.
  • Clearly and concisely, present strategic and tactical recommendations.

Job Requirements:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience with product analytics and a data driven culture.
  • 2+ years prior team leadership experience. 
  • Experience with data/analytical tools including Excel, Tableau; and querying databases using SQL, hive etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, self-motivated with the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Experience executing on projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Intellectual curiosity for what creates value for our customers and drives the business.
  • Understanding of product analytics, experimentation techniques preferred.
  • Experience working directly with product managers and software development teams.
  • Experience with automation of reporting to drive improvements in business processes.
  • Proven ability to tell a story through data and communicate effectively with senior leadership; mastery of advanced visualization techniques with an ability to translate findings for a general business audience.

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree preferred in Business, Statistics, Finance or related field.

CareerBuilder employees are currently remote. We do have offices based in Chicago and Atlanta. When it is safe to return to the office, you will have the ability to continue to be remote or utilize the Chicago or Atlanta offices as determined by your manager.
