As a Manager, Customer Success you will be responsible for managing a team and working with new and existing clients to ensure that they are successful with CareerBuilder solutions. You will engage with your team to monitor a client’s on-going health and establish a cadence for client interactions that ensure each customer is fully optimized on their existing deployed solutions. In summary, your job is to ensure we’re delivering value to our customers. 

  • Hire, train, develop and motivate success reps and provide ongoing and candid feedback to aid them in developing themselves.
  • Professionally develop success reps and assist in career planning as well as drive business results by achieving revenue contribution targets.
  • Developing strategic account plans based on short, mid and long term actions to grow the client relationship.
  • Strong knowledge of the market and of all key competitors.
  • Lead your teams to partner with the customer to establish a clearly define and communicated Business Roadmap to ensure achievement of business goals.
  • Effectively network within accounts from executives down in order to achieve successful execution of the customer's Roadmap, where appropriate.
  • Ensure each member on your team has developed a comprehensive understanding of typical business challenges faced by customers and common objectives to appropriately map CareerBuilder’s features and associated business benefits to address their needs.
  • Create plans to identify risks to the customer achieving their stated business goals and work with internal teams to build a risk mitigation plan.
  • Deliver successful customers through the contract renewal cycle and, where necessary, support the renewals process to minimize customer attrition.
  • Ensure clearly defined processes are in place and then communicated effectively to internal partners and clients.


Job Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience driving customer-related strategy, operations & results in large scale & swift moving organizations.
  • Previous software / SaaS experience required
  • Background in Enterprise level customer success, operations, customer engagement, satisfaction and retention
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams virtually
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to drive customer renewals and customer success
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Mastery in technical aptitude with ability to talk through technical specifications in an easy to learn and understand way
  • Experience with recruitment technology platforms/HRIS solutions a plus but not required
  • Mastered knowledge in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM
  • Working knowledge of Gainsight a plus but not required
  • Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong use of insights and confidence around data-driven decision making.
  • Excellent organization, project management and time management skills.
  • Mastered presentation skills
  • Successful persuasion of strategic recommendations in client optimization sessions.
  • Mastered relationship building and networking skills across all levels (end user, Executive, etc.); ability to maintain these relationships
  • Ability to build out processes that are scalable and replicable across the entire company.
  • Ability to identify and act on new business opportunities
  • Desire to learn about new products, features, and changes in our department and others that impact the entire company outside of your current book of business
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to travel 20%
