The Marketing Automation Manager is responsible for developing and executing B2B email campaigns (one-time, nurture, and automated trigger campaigns). You will work cross functionally with B2B marketing, product, and sales to manage lifecycle campaigns and the lead process. This role will deliver high quality campaigns with measurable metrics required to accelerate continued growth for CareerBuilder. The Marketing Automation manager role requires a combination of critical thinking, strong planning, organizational, and execution skills to successfully plan, develop, execute and measure B2B marketing activities to deliver marketing contribution to the sales and partner pipeline.

 

The Marketing Automation Manager reports to the VP, B2B Marketing.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage and refine lead processes between sales and marketing and ensure leads are being correctly actioned on
  • Act as a cross-functional contact working with stakeholders to build and execute B2B emails, landing pages, nurturing campaigns, ABM campaigns, and automation campaigns
  • Ability to explain and educate team members on how marketing automation works as well as processes and timelines required to operationalize strategies
  • Advise on audience segmentation strategies to optimize personalization, messaging, and relevance to increase engagement
  • Work closely with technical writers and graphic designer to ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency in all assets
  • Build, optimize, and launch digital assets (email, landing pages, forms, etc.) for promotional, lifecycle, and transactional marketing campaigns
  • Execute A/B testing to drive constant performance gains on open rates, engagement and conversion
  • Generate and analyze regular reporting on effectiveness and key performance indicators (KPIs) to share program impact and key learnings, recommending improvements as needed

 

Job Requirements:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Licensed MA specialist or 3+ years of experience working with MA tool
  • Proficiency in email marketing and marketing automation best practices (preferably Pardot)
    • Pardot Certification - preferred
  • Experience working with marketing automation and CRM platforms for data quality, segmentation, and campaign deployment
  • Demonstrated success running marketing programs that combine email marketing, marketing automation, content marketing, and reporting
  • Analytical thinking skills - uses data to drive strategy and to focus activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing multiple marketing projects at one time
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Office365 - Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Tech-savvy
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Goal-oriented  
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

 

CareerBuilder employees are currently remote. We do have offices based in Chicago and Atlanta. When it is safe to return to the office, you will have the ability to continue to be remote or utilize the Chicago or Atlanta offices as determined by your manager.
