Summary of the Job:

Career Builder is looking for a data-driven Product manager to help unify the customer profile data into a single repository. You will partner with designers, researchers, marketers, data scientists, and engineers to build strategies and features.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Identify customer data sources from multiple systems and applications and determine the optimal way to store them in a central repository
  • Help manage and maintain the progressive profile of the customers.
  • Help increase client addressable audience receiving emails
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, sales, support, customer engagement,  to identify requirements and opportunities to enhance customer’s profile data for various needs related to customer experiences, sales leads, customer engagement, etc
  • Conduct research and discoveries through hypothesis-based tests and initiatives that prioritize the most valuable opportunities for solutions that help us retain and grow our customer base.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including but not limited to Cross function product teams, User Experience, Engineering, Support, Sales & Success, Brand Marketing, and Analytics leaders.
  • Define metrics and analyze test results to inform the success of products and features.
  • Support the building of the product backlog by writing/grooming user stories and user acceptance criteria.
  • Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, product demos.

Job Requirements:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in a geographically dispersed workforce.
  • Experience using JIRA or equivalent to manage backlogs and document features.
  • Excellently written documentation and executive presentation abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with Tableau, SQL preferred.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities



Masters in Business Administration or, Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or related experience


Minimum Years of Experience:

3- 5  years of product management experience. 


Physical Demands:

  • Frequent phone and computer use
  • Creating written communications
  • Able to sit/stand at a desk
  • Able to bend, sit, stand, lift boxes or equipment (between 0-15 lbs)
  • Able to travel occasionally both domestically and internationally

CareerBuilder employees are currently remote. We do have offices based in Chicago and Atlanta. When it is safe to return to the office, you will have the ability to continue to be remote or utilize the Chicago or Atlanta offices as determined by your manager.
