Career Builder is looking for energetic, motivated “Hunter” professionals to join our Sales team focusing on new business development.  This position is responsible for selling CareerBuilder's suite of products to companies with less than 750 employees. You will gain experience interacting with a variety of key decision makers in various industries.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enthusiastically hunt for new business opportunities
  • Metrics- 500 cold calls/week, 25 set meetings/week
  • Prospecting and cold calling key decision makers to set appointments and acquire new business
  • Qualify, research and prioritize sales leads
  • Administer tailored, web-based presentations to showcase our product offerings that will help prospective clients execute human capital strategies that produce sustainable, measurable results
  • Schedule meetings, trainings, and demonstrations for sales prospects
  • Manage all activity in Salesforce including creating new accounts, assigning category of business, tracking opportunities, to ensure efficient account management
  • Consistently achieve qualified new business activity each month
  • Tenacious and driven, you are truly passionate about helping your clients/prospects become more efficient and profitable. 
  • Be a positive representative of CareerBuilder and its brand in the marketplace
  • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity

  • Associates degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 6 months-1 years professional experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a competitive, results-driven culture
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and time management skill
  • Able to think creatively and independently
  • Strong presentation skills; comfortable in front of senior leadership and decision makers
  • MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Flourishes in a fast paced, team environment and handles time effectively

  • Self-starting attitude
  • Must be comfortable on phone
  • Frequent computer and phone use
