The CareerBuilder Employment Screening Sales team is looking for a skilled Senior Account Executive who thrives working in a fast-paced environment, taking on new challenges, making an impact and having fun doing it. 

You will be an expert in managing stakeholders, understanding client needs and providing sourcing solutions across the Talent Acquisition and Management spectrum. In addition, you will engage with internal sales stakeholders, clients and delivery teams to provide consistent service quality to our clients.

The position requires high touch client and relationship management with a strong focus on customer needs and revenue generation. Integrity, proactivity and the ability to build long lasting and effective relationships are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

  • You will serve as a product expert and support the sales organization in selling the CareerBuilder Employment Screening service offerings
  • Act as a trusted advisor to your clients and salesforce by identifying and consulting with key decision makers to understand their business needs and build a business case for CareerBuilder’s solutions.
  • Customer experience comes first. You must have an innate ability to engage, support, and service your customers.
  • Sales must be your passion.  A competitive spirit and extreme focus to achieve and exceed sales goals is the CareerBuilder culture.
  • You will become a subject matter expert on human resources, employment screening landscape, and how the economy impacts today’s workforce.
  • Each day your focus will be to work with the CareerBuilder sales team and identify opportunities, create the business case and close the sale.
  • You are able to articulate the value of new services to your existing client base, and new clients in order to expand the business with a set of nationwide accounts.

 

Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years' experience with conceptual sales, solution selling and value-based selling
  • Able to self-motivate and work independently
  • High activity sales cycle for selling new solutions
  • Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong sense of initiative and desire to achieve
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
  • Experience working named account lists
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Experience selling software or services
  • Experience selling to C-Suite buyers
  • Experience selling to HR buyers
  • Experience selling into a named account set of 1M+ annual spend with an average annual deal size between 50k-150K
  • Proven success selling to the executive level as well as multiple buyers at several levels within large, enterprise organizations
  • Documented success selling into large complex accounts with multiple decision makers
