CareerBuilder is looking for a Senior User Experience Researcher to join the User Experience team.  As a Senior UX Researcher, the role focuses on identifying new approaches to conduct rapid discovery in an Agile environment, managing the rest of the user research team in 1) resources and work load, 2) best practices for analyzing user data and sharing user insights, 3) providing oversight into research projects and analyses being conducted by the research team, and 4) leading key user research projects that have far-reaching impacts on business strategy and innovation.


    • Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to identify research needs
    • Manage all aspects of the user research team including requests, resource management, project timelines, and representing the team to internal and external stakeholders and upper management.
    • Design, plan, scope, and conduct user research studies including usability testing (in person and remote), ethnography/field research, concept testing, surveys, and card sorts
    • Tag, organize, and archive research reports into a searchable database to increase research transparency across the team and organization
    • Review, analyze, and report qualitative and quantitative data to deliver actionable insights to the product and design teams
    • Find creative and compelling ways to share research insights throughout the organization

Job Requirements:


    • BS/BA degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or related field.
    • 4+ years of experience in applied product research for commercial B2B, B2C, SaaS or mobile products.
    • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.
    • Practical understanding of traditional and new research methods, UX methodology and design thinking.
    • Demonstrated expertise in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
    • Ability to influence and guide others on the value and importance of user-centered research.
    • An understanding of agile product development practices Atlassian products.
