What's the role?

CareerBuilder is looking for a skilled Sr. Revenue Accounting Analyst to join the CBES family! 

The Sr. Revenue Accounting Analyst is primarily responsible for monthly revenue journal entries and account reconciliations, revenue share reporting, ad-hoc revenue related projects and will communicate with teams from Finance, Technology, Marketing, Human Resources and Sales.

Further Responsibilities Include...

  • Prepare schedules and analysis, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Identify areas of risk as they arise and provide a suggested approach to address these risks
  • Work closely with the adoption of ASC 606
  • Obtain a strong understanding of CareerBuilder’s accounting policies and procedures
  • Prepare schedules for internal/external audit and assist with financial statement preparation
  • Work across the organization and with third parties on revenue shares and general GAAP revenue recognition policies and procedures
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed

Job Requirements:


  • 3-5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance; public accounting experience preferred
  • BA/BS in Accounting/Finance
  • CPA or pursuing CPA       
  • Strong understanding of GAAP Accounting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to succeed in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and independent with the ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational capabilities
  • Proven characteristics of consistent accuracy and attention to detail
