Sr. Sales Manager, Inside Sales

About the Role

Lead a team of 6-8 Software Sales Executives and/or Senior Software Account Executives to exceed annual revenue goals. As the Sr. Sales Manager, you will be responsible for hiring, training, developing, and strategy execution and results. 

Job Summary:

Areas of Focus

  • Hire, train, develop and lead an inside business to business sales team
  • Identifying the major prospects within the areas devising a plan to bring new business on at a rapid pace
  • Build strategy to create overall revenue growth
  • Ensure team is on track to achieve new business quota each quarter
  • Hold Sales Reps accountable for activity metric each month (blue printing, dials, meetings, proposals) and inputting activity in salesforce accurately
  • Shadow each reps/ join in on calls per week
  • Conduct weekly one-on-ones with each rep per week and provide full recap
  • Identify 25 new warm opportunities per week
  • Sales Stretch/Role Play with team 3x per week
  • Get on calls with reps to help close new business deals
  • Submit and review call transcriptions with reps each week


  • Lead sales team of 6-8 inside sales representatives on identifying new business opportunities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • This position will require someone who is willing/ready and able to look for new ways to teach people how to EXCEED sales goals and add to the enthusiasm and excitement to the team
  • Experience working in a business to business, inside sales environment at the executive level
  • Candidates must possess strong leadership skills, and have shown the potential to identify, train, and retain top level sales professionals
  • Proven track record of working with "new business" sales environment
  • Experience selling complex accounts with multiple decision makers
  • Have a strong business acumen
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Successful experience leading and developing high activity sales executives in surpassing sales goals.
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Ability to work more than 40 -50 hours per week
