Come help us drive the evolution of the benefit administration outsourcing industry. Workterra is a currently a trusted player in the market looking for a benefit technology sales expert to be part of a revamped team driving industry transformation and leadership. .

The position requires high touch client and relationship management with a strong focus on customer needs and consultative sales.  Integrity, proactivity and the ability to build long lasting and effective relationships are essential for this role.

You will be an expert in understanding client needs and providing effective solutions. You will engage with internal sales stakeholders, clients and delivery teams to provide consistent service and quality to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting leads, setting appointments, performing demos and sales presentations, providing proposals and  closing the sale--you have complete control over your success
  • Think strategically and work eagerly to generate and cultivate new business relationships
  • Focus each day on identifying opportunities, creating the business case and closing the sale by articulating the value of Workterra software and services to a new client base
  • Manage the entire sales process in Zoho, our CRM system
  • Act as a trusted advisor to your clients by identifying and consulting with key decision makers to understand their business needs and build a business case for Workterra solutions.
  • Encourage clients to evaluate business needs and Benefits Administration strategies in new ways. Constructively challenge client perceptions and the status quo.
  • Identify multiple decision makers throughout organizations and present impactful data and information to address their pain points  and propose meaningful solutions

Job Requirements:

 Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Have a deep knowledge of the benefits world and be viewed as a trusted advisor to your clients and prospects
  • Be a subject matter expert in benefits administration outsourcing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications,
  • Ability to successfully sell virtually over the web and in-person
  • Ability to self-motivate and work independently, maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically with strong sense of initiative and desire to achieve  
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills

 Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience with conceptual sales at enterprise level, solution selling and value-based selling
  • Experience selling to new business clients, zero-billers
  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Experience with Software sales
  • Experience selling to HR buyers, Benefits Administration industry
  • Proven success selling to the executive level as well as multiple buyers at several levels within large, enterprise organizations
