As the Team Lead on the Implementation Software team, your primary role will be split between driving client implementations of our software (50-70%), and collaborating closely with Implementation Software Manager to drive efficiencies in process and with company initiatives (30-50%).  In leading implementations, you will work with sales, technology, development, and client teams to provide dynamic customer solutions and implementation strategies.  For this reason, it’s critical to have excellent communication skills, be business process savvy, as well as have strong organizational and time-management skills. In leading the Implementation Software team, you will be responsible for maintaining the skillset required for complete understanding of projects in order to be a team resource on deliveries.  As team Lead, you will be working on projects that target team efficiencies on Time to Deliver and process improvement.  This is a position with large responsibility and high exposure.

 

Major Responsibilities/Activities 

 

Team Leadership (30- 50%):

  • Provide day-to-day support to the Implementation Software team and maintain the day-to-day operational aspects of the group.
  • Facilitate ongoing training for new developments or features that will need to be delivered upon.
  • Coordinate with the Project Managers to assess project workloads and the assignment of new projects.
  • Serves as leadership initial point of escalation for implementation team.
  • Partners with Manager for SOW review and project assignments.
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders (both internal and external) to defuse escalated situations.
  • Responsible for onboarding, orientation, and training of new team members.
  • Act as the liaison with internal teams and stakeholders to foster a positive partnership.
  • Works closely with CareerBuilder’s technology, development, and fulfillment teams to develop a strong relationship and identify process improvements.
  • Drive the development of processes and procedures to ensure they are in line with our evolving business and products across Global Software Implementation team.
  • Successfully present process changes and expectations to all internal stakeholders including leadership.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert for team process and delivery methodology
  • Ability to supervise direct reports and provide guidance and leadership through structured 1:1’s with direct reports.
  • Champion of internal tools: Implementation Dashboard, OneNote, and CB Training platform.
  • Creates performance and resource utilization reports for leadership team.
  • Team initiatives and special projects as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

Project Management (50 - 70%):

  • Works with minimal supervision on projects usually broader in nature requiring originality and ingenuity to see through.
  • Sound understanding of CareerBuilder ecosystem of platforms and configuration capabilities.
  • Ability to manage highly complex implementations within defined team SLA’s.
  • Independent management of multiple software implementation projects and across multiple products.
  • Responsible for project implementation meetings and calls with clients.
  • Leverages development tools to make requested configuration changes in clients software
  • Develop, implement, and enforce a standard delivery process focused on providing clients best practices and a resource that meets their recruiting needs through a consultative approach.
  • Communicates with sales and internal leadership to identify critical project roadblocks and opportunities.
  • Participates in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, confirm product functionality, formulate delivery approach, and develop a Scope of Work (SOW).
  • Travel up to 20%

 

Job Requirements (Include education, experience, special skills and licenses or certifications required, please indicate whether this is a requirement or a preferred feature.)

 

  • At least 1 year of management experience preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in client-facing role where they acted in a project management capacity
  • At least 2 years of experience in HR, Recruitment, Sales/Marketing, or Operations
  • Bachelor’s Degree required (UK not required)
  • PMP / LSSGB certification is preferred

  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills; including Project and Visio
