We are looking for an Interaction Designer / UX Researcher II that can function in a hybrid role as both a designer and a researcher. Candidates in this role should be able to understand business requirements, translate them into beautiful user-centered designs for desktop and mobile devices and then test them by conducting user research studies.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes based on requirements.
  • Utilize user testing data to guide the design direction.
  • Identify design problems and suggest elegant solutions.
  • Facilitate the overall vision by researching, sketching, prototyping and user testing.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Design, plan, scope, and conduct user research studies including usability testing (in person and remote), ethnography/field research, concept testing, surveys, and card sorts.
  • Tag, organize, and archive research reports into a searchable database to increase research transparency across the team and organization.
  • Review, analyze, and report qualitative and quantitative data to deliver actionable insights to the product and design teams.
  • Find creative and compelling ways to share research insights throughout the organization.

Job Requirements:

Requirements

 

  • Two or more years of experience as a UX designer/researcher.
  • Expert in design software such as Sketch and Adobe XD.
  • Ability to work with Product to understand requirements and convert them into simple and efficient user-friendly designs.
  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently based on internal and external feedback.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization
  • Be passionate about the user experience and innovating to create best in class experiences for users.
  • Practical understanding of traditional and new research methods, UX methodology and design thinking
  • Demonstrated expertise in a variety of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Ability to influence and guide others on the value and importance of user-centered research
  • BS/BA Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Visual Design, Cognitive Science, Psychology or related field.
  • A portfolio of work should be available to review.
