The Video Editor & Motion Designer creates digital content to support a wide range of CB Marketing efforts – from YouTube pre-roll ads and social content to sales enablement tools and demos housed on our website. Core responsibilities include big idea conception, storyboard development and technical execution of both animated and live action videos. The resulting work will drive brand recognition, supporting customer retention, EOI targets and lead generation.

The Video Editor & Motion Designer is responsible for the production, design and execution of 2D/3D multimedia marketing materials and videos for both B2B and B2C sales and brand-related communications. They are an integral part of the creation, development and execution within many different mediums, which may include: short form video ads, social media videos, interactive infographics, software product demos, educational videos and more.

Job Requirements:

  • Develop creative solutions with a compelling story flows that clearly align with project strategy and vision
  • Manage all aspects of video from conception to execution and collaborate with account and strategy teams to understand briefs and core messages
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, develop concepts in partnership with design and copy partners
  • Edit shot and stock footage to craft a narrative that solves an internal and/or external business challenge
  • Animate and edit various styles of motion graphics, including video post-production and animation for use on the web, social, TV, and digital signage
  • Create storyboards, complete basic color correction, lead video and audio production, and manage sound design
  • Conceptualize and design supporting elements for Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other social networking sites
  • Work with external suppliers, such as video production companies, editors, and client creative teams
  • Ability to assist on other design projects, when needed, including: logo design, Power Point presentations, event materials, and sales materials

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a production studio or digital agency environment preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite of tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Photoshop & Illustrator)
  • Comprehensive knowledge of video industry standard formats and media management practices on Mac/PC platforms.
  • Ability to edit voice and audio tracks, fix talking points or dub overs
  • Workfront experience is a plus
