The Art Director is responsible for managing their creative projects, timelines and communications surrounding the projects. The individual should have a proven track record in all mediums, including: digital (coding experience a plus), video (editing capability a MUST), events, social media, PPT decks and content. Experience in both B2C and B2B marketing preferred however, experience in the HR tech vertical is not necessary.

  • Provides brand expertise and leadership to guide projects and develop creative solutions that meet goals.
  • Creates a team environment that facilitates: mutual respect and partnership across functions, quality thinking, appropriate risk taking, open lines of communication between staff and managers, on-going performance feedback, professional development and adherence to brand standards.
  • Self-directs and manages multiple assignments simultaneously, within established timeframes and budgets.
  • Responsible for overall quality and presentation of work.
  • Effectively communicates marketing strategies and creative standards to those outside of Marketing.
  • Identifies best possible creative solution and execution without regard for where the idea originated.
  • Collaborates with copywriters, designers and other art directors to develop creative concepts and executions.
  • Drives conceptual and stylistic direction, in partnership with the Creative Director.
  • Reads what the writers put on the page to help QC and optimize creative. 

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Art Director experience (in-house or agency).
  • High level of strategic and conceptual thinking with the ability execute.
  • Ability to analyze, establish and manage schedules.
  • Demonstrated measurable success directing and executing high quality, professional, multi-media advertising and promotion campaigns in a large and competitive market place.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities. Excellent diplomacy skills, assertiveness, initiative, and good judgment. Must possess creativity, strong team leadership, and analytical skills.  
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft 365.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and basic HTML mandatory.
  • Ability to edit and concept video (Premiere) is a MUST.
