You will work closely with the CareerBuilder HR team and leadership in both a strategic and hands-on role administering employee benefits programs globally.

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Day-to-day implementation and administration of all benefit plans
  • Key employee-facing contact for employee needs and questions
  • Answer all eligibility, claim, and plan coverage questions as well as research/resolve any issues that may arise
  • Research benefit plan legal requirements and ensure all requirements are met
  • Develop all benefits plan communication and educational programs to employees
  • Audit benefit information and modules in the HRIS system on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Processing of benefit related payroll items each payroll period
  • Develop and implement the Company’s Annual Open Enrollment
  • Manage all leave plans for employees (STD, LTD, FMLA, ADA)
  • Conduct monthly billing audits and ensure accurate/timely payment of all invoices
  • Administer year end wrap up functions (plan testing, plan audits, governmental filings, compliance activities - 5500 filings, PCORI, ACA Reporting, Non-Discrimination Testing, SAR, MCC and CMS Reporting etc.)
  • Arrange onsite annual wellness, flu-shot and biometric screenings fairs
  • Implementation, promotion and on-going administration of company annual wellness program
  • Handle company worker’s compensation claims and OSHA compliance tasks

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Benefits administration
  • Well-developed employee relations and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work with employees and providers to resolve complex issues
  • Strong practical knowledge of employee benefits programs and related regulatory statutes

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • A high degree of computer literacy and problem-solving skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Prior experience with Workday benefit enrollment system preferred
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality relating to employee information
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Must provide a high level of "customer service" to our employees
  • Must have a sharp eye for detail
  • Effective and comfortable with a team operations environment
  • Ability to be self-directed and consistently achieve project schedules and goals
  • Position is located in Chicago, IL
