Client Support Specialist


  • Tier 1 Technical Support - Triage In-bound support related issues.
  • Function as a subject matter expert in our system’s functionality and how customers use our software.
  • Utilize Self-Service offerings to trouble-shoot issues within the scope of the Client Support Specialist role.
  • Share ideas with team collaboratively. Ensure team’s focus remains on customer. Take ownership of and pulls through support issues.
  • Create and Update Case Tickets in the Customer Relationship Manager (CRM)
  • Escalate Issues to Case Support Team within Service Level Target, provide detailed and accurate documentation.
  • Maintain Departmental Standards for Quality and Satisfaction Metrics
  • Act as a Customer Advocate to identify opportunities to educate customers on how to better use the system tools and increase utilization.

Job Requirements:


  • Associate Degree in Computer Science (Preferred) or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in software application support or service organization, preferably in a Call/Contact Center environment.
  • Team-oriented individual who values opportunities to build the skills and capabilities of others, a strong sense of the possible, and a real desire to improve customer experience.
  • Quick learner, self-motivated, autonomous, proactive, intellectually curious and strong attention to detail
  • Above Average Organizational and Time-Management skills
  • Ability to receive and leverage feedback
  • Ability to communicate with empathy and appropriate sense of urgency
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills to support the communication of technical solution(s) in a manner suitable for the customer.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Above Average Business Acumen
  • Above Average level of Technical Expertise
  • Basic understanding of web development technologies (HTML, XML, XML, CSS, MYSQL, PHP, JavaScript)
  • Working knowledge of or similar CRM system preferred
