Job Summary:

The Process Improvement Analyst is responsible for evaluating, planning and implementing improvements through training and business processes, as well as standardizing practices that span multiple roles and/or departments. The Process Improvement Analyst will conduct thorough audits of standard operating procedures, fulfilled work, ongoing training needs, and approaches for new procedures. This position will lead report recommendations for improvements and standardizations to management on an ongoing basis. The position will also be responsible for delivering updates to other areas of the business as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify training gaps and deliver supplemental training as needed to existing employees.
  • Collaborate frequently with Instructional Designer/Department Trainer regarding recommendations/updates to training content/material.
  • Participate in the pre-planning/planning, development, testing, training and deployment of software applications. 
  • Evaluate common trends and risks using the audit data; work with manager to recommend process improvements to reduce/eliminate common errors/risks.
  • Identify gaps with processes/system and opportunities for improvement and offer resolution. 
  • Conduct quality audits of orders and document all findings
  • Coordinate with other Operations Process Improvement Analysts to ensure consistency in monitoring, tracking and reporting
  • Review all compliance driven data to develop corrective action plans and drive these plans to completion.
  • Present monthly to management based on recommendations, risks, trends and findings processed ensuring all necessary paperwork is attached and that all necessary protocols are followed.
  • Support training of new and existing employees on all updated processes.
  • Demonstrate high-quality teamwork, interpersonal, resiliency and self-management capabilities.
  • Perform multiple projects simultaneously and working with varying team members and other departments.
  • Ability to make timely recommendations to effectively solve problems, using independent judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies and procedures.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, inclusive of department expectations.


Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. College Degree (preferred)
  • Process improvement experience (preferred)
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) with strong emphasis on Excel skills.
  • Strong ability to perform detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Strong collaboration skills with ability to work with various business groups and technical partners. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong communication and analytical skills are essential. 
  • Self-directed with excellent follow through. 
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a passion for driving execution at a detail level.
  • Develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
