The Global Treasurer is responsible for both the daily operations and strategic direction of CareerBuilder’s centralized global treasury function overseeing such things as global cash management, debt compliance, banking relationships, account structures and systems, foreign exchange and corporate risk management.  Reporting directly to the Chief Finance Officer, the Global Treasurer will be a key member of CareerBuilder’s global accounting and finance leadership team helping drive market-leading performance.

Major Responsibilities

  • Manage all cash management functions to ensure adequate liquidity of working capital needs for all of CareerBuilder’s global entities.
  • Oversee global bank relationships and negotiate banking service fees.
  • Implement new treasury technologies, products and services to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure that CareerBuilder’s bank accounts and payment processes have the appropriate security and segregation of duties in place.
  • Lead initiatives for regulatory requirements (i.e. Dodd Frank, EMIR, SEPA, FBAR, MMF reforms).
  • Execute foreign exchange transactions and advise management on foreign currency risk management
  • Manage debt and ensure covenant compliance
  • Implement and manage debt interest rate hedging programs
  • Oversee daily cash report and assist in the preparation of the monthly cash forecast
  • Partner with cross functional teams to create efficiencies in processes and reduce costs.
  • Act as primary security administrator for all Banking and Treasury systems.
  • Manage the corporate insurance programs; lead the program’s annual renewal process and provide assistance on reviewing insurance-related wording in customer and vendor contracts.
  • Oversees issuing Letters of Credit
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to Sr. Treasury Analyst

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements 

  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in finance or accounting.
  • 10+ years experience in Treasury and cash management for a multinational company.
  • Experience with debt compliance and management of corporate insurance.
  • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) credential highly desirable.
  • Leadership and relationship building skills are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills along with strong organization, analytical and time management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams.
  • Ability to leverage accounting systems and spreadsheet applications.
  • Experience with banking software and Treasury workstations.
  • Must be proactive and a problem solver.
