The Opportunity

The candidate will be a member of the End User IT Services Engineering team responsible for all relevant internal IT endpoints and services.  This role also involves supporting multiple Cloud technologies (UCaaS, SaaS) that provide collaboration and communication channels for both Internal Employees and External customers.  We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who is comfortable working in a distributed team environment, who has strong communication and business skills.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for endpoint operating systems, security, and management tools.
  • Perform software packaging, distribution and patch management.
  • Create, maintain, and manage up to date images of each desktop and laptop class. Work with other IT teams to optimize desktop and software settings provided in each image.
  • Maintain documentation for all images and software push processes.
  • Provide advanced technical support for escalated issues and work with vendors to resolve more complex issues.
  • Respond to Incident Management to identify root causes and strategic solutions to recurring problems.
  • Research and recommend new technologies, enhancements and configuration changes to improve endpoint performance and efficiency.
  • Periodically visit with users to gain insight on requirements and needs.
  • Ensuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • There may be a requirement to work outside normal office hours to undertake routine maintenance or resolve problems.

Job Requirements:


The duties and responsibilities described above are the essential functions of the job. The qualifications below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred or relevant experience in an Enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of Windows  & Mac operating systems.
  • Experience managing Apple Devices via Jamf Pro / Casper Suite.
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory, GPO, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SMTP.
  • Experience with endpoint encryption and anti-virus.
  • Experience with Virtualization: VMWare, Citrix XenDesktop and XenApp
  • Security: Familiarity with CIS, NIST, and Data Privacy laws. 
  • Experience with Office365 platform (Skype For Business, Office 2016, SharePoint, OneDrive) Exchange Powershell, a plus.
  • Experience with Zoom Video Conferencing a plus.
  • Experience with VoIP/Cloud Telephony a plus.
  • Monitoring Tools: LogicMonitor, Nexthink experience a plus.
  • Continued technical training and certifications
