Workterra is looking for energetic, motivated professionals to join our Sales team focusing on new business development.  The position requires high touch client and relationship management with a strong focus on customer needs and consultative sales.  Integrity, proactivity and the ability to build long lasting and effective relationships are essential for this role.

You will be an expert in understanding client needs and providing effective solutions. You will engage with internal sales stakeholders, clients and delivery teams to provide consistent service and quality to our clients.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • You own the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting leads, setting the appointments, to closing the sale, and you have complete control over your success
  • Each day your focus will be to identify opportunities, create the business case and close the sale
  • Act as a trusted advisor to your clients by identifying and consulting with key decision makers to understand their business needs and build a business case for Workterra solutions.
  • Encourage clients to evaluate business needs and Benefits Administration strategies in new ways. Constructively challenge client perceptions and the status quo.
  • Customer experience comes first. You must have an innate ability to engage, support, and service your customers.
  • You are able to articulate the value of Worterra software to a new client base
  • You have a deep knowledge of the benefits world and you are viewed as a trusted advisor to your clients and prospects
  • Identify multiple decision makers throughout organizations and present impactful data and information to illustrate their pains and propose meaningful solutions
  • Close new business using value-based, solutions-driven sales approach
  • Schedule meetings, trainings, and demonstrations for sales prospects
  • Think strategically and work eagerly to generate and cultivate new business relationships
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in CSM (Salesforce)

Job Requirements:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Subject Matter Expert in Benefits Administration
  • Experience with conceptual sales at enterprise level, solution selling and value-based selling
  • Experience selling to new business clients, zero-billers
  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Experience with Software sales
  • Experience selling to HR buyers, Benefits Administration industry
  • Proven success selling to the executive level as well as multiple buyers at several levels within large, enterprise organizations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Proficiency with Zoom, virtual meetings
  • Able to self-motivate and work independently
  • Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks and work within deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically
  • Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong sense of initiative and desire to achieve
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in fast paced, high performance environment.
  • Strong understanding of providing client experience

Minimum Years of Experience:

5+ years' of experience

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent phone and computer use
  • Creating written communications
  • Able to sit/stand at a desk
  • Able to bend, sit, stand, lift boxes or equipment (between 0-15 lbs)

This role is remote or in office flexible. All CareerBuilder teams are currently remote due to COVID-19. When it is safe to return to the office, certain teams will transition back to the office. This role could remain remote full time if desired.
