The CareerBuilder Infrastructure Operations team has an immediate opening for an Infrastructure Engineer in our Norcross, GA office. This person will work on a team supporting the company’s hybrid cloud platform. We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who is comfortable working in a team environment. 

 Responsibilities & Essential Functions

  • Support high availability Linux in a 24/7 enterprise environment.
  • Working knowledge of Windows servers
  • Possess the ability to write bash, python or powershell scripts to automate the environment is a must
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Chef , Puppet
  • Familiarity with GitHub
  • Working knowledge of  VMware or other Hypervisor
  • Support our Active Directory design and administration
  • Must know how to implement SSSD for Linux AD Authentication.
  • Monitor our SAN environment consisting of 3PAR storage and Brocade / Cisco fiber switches
  • Must have familiarity with AWS, Azure or Google cloud platform.
  • Basic knowledge of Networking
  • Work to automate management tasks, streamline processes, and improve reliability in the infrastructure environment
  • Play a supplemental role in developing, implementing, and executing disaster recovery plans
  • Conduct hardware and software audits for compliance with established standards, policies, procedures, and configurations guidelines
  • Provides support for equipment racking and installations based on needs
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to support all infrastructure and site services
  • Travel to visit datacenters when needed
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Job Requirements:

Required Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent experience is required.
  • Minimum of Three (5) years of increasing hands on System Administration and strong Analytical and Troubleshooting skills required
