Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Contributes to the direction of the solution scope and individual project iterations.
  • Iterations result in early feedback and the release of value-added functionality.
  • Takes ownership of assigned tasks and ensures successful on-time completion.
  • Proactively communicates the overall iteration/project status to team and product owners.
  • Effectively communicates with other development teams.
  • Demonstrates our development philosophy on a daily basis.
  • Spreads our values and practices to other developers with less experience.
  • Self-organizing.
  • Scopes and plan project iterations with leaders and project teammates.
  • Optimizes project iterations and problem scopes to produce high feedback while delivering value to our customers quickly.
  • Ability to identify technical areas for improvement. 

Job Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent problem resolution, analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly in fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to guide/mentor and teach more junior developers.

Technical Expertise:

  • Has a functional understanding of how to leverage Object-Oriented software 
  • Experience developing scalable solutions for the web 
  • Has experience working in an Agile environment
  • Is adept at predicting possible bugs and edge cases
  • Produces solutions that both meet the business goals and have strong conceptual and perceived integrity
  • Experience with the Angular Framework and Typescript
  • Experience in NodeJS highly preferred
  • Extensive programming experience in one of modern programming like C# or Java
  • Experience developing RESTful APIs preferably using .Net Web API Technology
  • Ability to create Responsive UIs
  • Expert experience with HTML5 and CSS3
  • End-to-End and Unit testing skills
  • Experience using Github
  • Experience using JIRA 

Collaboration and Teamwork

  • Provides peers with insightful feedback on integrity and style in the code review process.
  • Mentors others in immediate team.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience.
