Summary of the Job:
The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist is primarily responsible for achieving targets on the deployment of the Source & Screen recruitment process. The Sr. TA Specialist will be responsible for client communication and determining the day-to-day project direction.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Run Launch and Weekly touchpoint calls with client stakeholders
  • Provide project update and industry overview to client throughout project engagement
  • Accountable to move the client through the recruitment process
  • Responsible for asking current clients if we can support additional projects during every touchpoint call for transactional clients
  • Responsible for calling and emailing past clients to try and win-back
  • Responsible for documenting all client repeat revenue activity as directed by leadership
  • Create and deploy day-to-day recruitment strategy to determine project direction
  • Candidate Screening; including screening resumes and phone interviewing
  • True passive sourcing including cold calling, niche board sourcing and data-mining
  • Responsible for engaging and proactively auditing and managing the performance of offshore resources who are supporting recruitment projects
  • Responsible to meet or exceed performance targets and SLAs

Job Requirements:

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience owning client communication
  • Experience with various ATS systems, job boards, cold calling and advanced Boolean search strings
  • Proficient communicator with a high attention to detail
  • Customer Service orientation
  • Technically inclined with advanced MS Office skills
  • Applicant Tracking System experience
  • Proven organization with creative thinking
  • Self-motivated and flexible
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proven track record of providing an exceptional level of service to hiring managers and candidates
  • Proven sourcing strategies and techniques that attract the most passive and active candidates
  • Must be able to work independently and in a team environment


Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum Years of Experience:

3 years of specialized recruitment experience including creation and deployment of recruitment strategies


CareerBuilder employees are currently remote. We do have offices based in Chicago and Atlanta. When it is safe to return to the office, you will have the ability to continue to be remote or utilize the Chicago or Atlanta offices as determined by your manager.
