The Team Lead will achieve proficiency in the requirements below through job-related training and work experience. The Team Leads will perform a variety of complex tasks and serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for their particular department. A successful Team Lead will be eager to learn new and complex processes, as well as have a desire to train and assist others.

Job Requirements:

  • Develops advanced and specialized expertise on Client Services function as assigned
  • Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on Client Services functions and process as assigned
  • Supports the Client Services Supervisor in the coordination and supervision of daily activities for the team
  • Communicates with clients and applicants via phone and email including addressing complex, escalated requests
  • Provides clients information about CBES products and services as needed
  • Provides training/guidance to Client Services team members on Client Services functions and processes
  • Analyzes and interprets information received from clients using deductive and inductive reasoning skills to determine the best solution and follows through to completion
  • Records details of all calls and tasks, as well as actions taken, into Salesforce
  • Communicates with Operations Supervisors, peers, leaders, and other departments regarding caller requests as needed
  • Meets CareerBuilder Employment Screening quality standards for services by adhering to client guidelines, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Contributes to team effort in maintaining service level agreements (SLA)


Job Requirements:


  • High school degree or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Able to complete work with minimal errors under limited supervision required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, OneDrive) required
  • Ability to multitask (i.e., read or type while talking on the phone) required
  • Strong written and verbal comprehension and expression skills required
  • Ability to type 35+ WPM required
  • Previous experience with CRM systems (i.e., Salesforce) preferred
