Job Duties:  

  Partner closely with leadership and serve as a subject matter expert around talent for the technical functional team(s) and corporate teams to deeply understand their hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements while providing hiring recommendations.   

  • Strategic sourcing of passive candidates via industry research, cold calling, complex internet searches, and networking, in addition to reviewing and managing inbound candidate flow.  
  • As a subject matter expert, manage the offer process and salary negotiations.   
  • Act as a talent advisor and subject matter expert for engineering leadership.  
  • Contribute to the growth of CareerBuilder’s recruiting function by proactively developing and refining processes and serving as a thought partner for the rest of the team  
  • Implement strategies to tackle hard to fill roles and build pipelines through sourcing, referrals, research.   
  • Source and identify passive talent to build CareerBuilder’s Engineering teams through use of boolean, online tools, and unique sourcing techniques.   
  • Identify new ways to build awareness of CareerBuilder in new hiring markets and create employer brand awareness.   
  • Focus on inclusive recruiting practices.   

Job Requirements:

Required Skills/Experience 

  • 2+ years of Technical or Product Recruiting experience, in either an Agency setting or in-house setting.  
  • At least 1 year supporting  corporate departments outside of Tech such as, Marketing, Business Development, Finance & Accounting, HR, Legal, etc.   
  • Proven strategic sourcer, cold-calling, negotiating, and closing candidates.   
  • Experience partnering with multiple hiring managers on a variety of roles   
  • Understanding of recruiting metrics and how to utilize them to influence hiring decisions 
  • Ability to work with internal clients to develop and iterate best-in-class profiles to reflect the talent needs of the business 
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems  
  • Proficient in excel 
  • Experience scheduling and conducting virtual interviews using Microsoft Teams and Zoom  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication,  time management skills and negotiation skills  

**This role could be based out of our Chicago or Atlanta office, but given the current COVID-19 environment, all teams are working remotely until it is safe to return to the office. **
